ACER Scholarship Test
The Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) designs one of the most rigorous and widely used scholarship and selective school tests in Australia. ACER assessments are highly regarded for evaluating a student's ability to think critically, analyze information, and express complex ideas effectively.
The Written Expression component is uniquely challenging, requiring students to complete two distinct writing tasks—typically a creative/narrative piece and a persuasive/discursive essay—under immense time pressure. ACER examiners expect more than just correct grammar; they look for sophisticated vocabulary, nuanced arguments, engaging storytelling, and impeccable structural coherence.
Mastering two different writing styles back-to-back requires strategic preparation. Our program is tailored specifically to ACER's dual-task format. We provide students with authentic prompts and train them to develop rapid ideation, efficient structuring, and adaptable tones through intensive practice and targeted feedback.
To help students confidently tackle this challenge, we have developed a highly structured 10-week intensive preparation routine. Our platform goes beyond granular writing feedback; it breaks down exam preparation into manageable daily tasks. From building a robust vocabulary through our curated Word Bank and reading exercises, to rigorous writing practice, targeted rewrites, and model essay analysis. Combined with a gamified reward system to keep students motivated, we comprehensively elevate their English proficiency, giving them a distinct competitive edge.
